Ollie Benz 69, of Paris, Arkansas died Monday, April 25, 2011 in Paris.
Ollie was born March 21, 1942 in Paris to the late Anton and Catherine (Zeiler) Benz.
Ollie was the owner and operator of Benz Automotive, loved to drag race and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.
Ollie is preceded in death by his parents Anton and Catherine Benz and two brothers, Otto Eugene Benz and James Edward Benz.
Ollie is survived by his wife of 45 years Kay (Colburn) Benz of Paris, two sons, James Edward Benz of Fayettville, and Alious Thomas Benz II of Springdale, one grandson, Alious "Trey" Thomas Benz III of Helena, two sisters Rose Zita Delaloye of Bartlesville Oklahoma and Irene Benz of Bellevue Nebraska, three brothers, Anthony Benz of Tucson Arizona, Raymond Benz of Little Rock and Johnny Benz of Paris.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery both in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Bart Brown, Mike Irwin, Jeff Davis, Joel Colburn, Harold Huff and James Fletcher.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Johnson, Carlton Weatherton, Oral Roberts, Ed Williams and Billy Ray Brocato.
