John - July 29, 1883 - June 19, 1967

John Robert Mann, aged 83 died Monday afternoon in a Fordyce hospital. He was the father of Kenneth and Fred Mann of Camden. He was born July 29, 1884 at Jacinto, near Holly Springs, and was a Methodist. Mr. Mann was a retired farmer and merchant. He had attended a family reunion in Hot Springs during the weekend. Other survivors include four sons, Bruce Mann of Liberty, Mo., Bernice Mann of Pine Bluff; George Mann of El Dorado and Claude Mann of South Haven, Michigan; fourteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jacinto with burial in Taylor Cemetery, near Holly Springs. Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce is in charge of arrangements.
