George Robert Hatwig, 95 of Paris, Arkansas died Sunday, July 27, 2008 in Paris, Arkansas. He was born February 1, 1913 in Paris, Arkansas to his parents, Robert G. and Mary (Raible) Hatwig. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary (Frederick) Hatwig; Sister, Cresence Neumeier; Nephew, George Leo Neumeier. He retired as Office Manager for Farmer Home Administration and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church-Paris and St. Boniface Catholic Church-Fort Smith. Survivors include wife, Marie (Baumgartner) Hatwig; and Nephew, Thomas Robert Neumeier. Mass was held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2008, St. Joseph Catholic Church-Paris with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery-Paris with Fr. Eugene Luke, O.S.B. officiating. Pallbearers: Glen Stengel, Thomas Robert Neumeier, Gus, Tom, Raymond and Louis Frederick.
Honorary Pallbearers: Charlie, Larry, Mike and David Wilhelm, Michael Baumgartner. Rosary: 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2008, St. Joseph
