GENTRY — Alma May Swisher, 91, of Gentry died Feb. 1, 2006, at her home. She was born Feb. 26, 1914, in Pine Bluff, Wyo., to Bum and Anna Ruth Atterteruy Brunk. She had worked for Peterson Industries and was a cook at the Stateline Cafe in Siloam Springs. She was a member of Gentry Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald H. Swisher, Leonard Mosier and Marion Stewart.
Survivors include one son, LeRoy H. Swisher and wife Pat of Loveland, Colo.; one daughter, Vera Beth Calkins and husband David of Gentry; one stepson, Bill Stewart and wife Delores of Gentry; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Bruce Potter and Rick Brown officiating. Burial will be later in Gentry Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72764.
