CHURCH, Mary Ida(?) JINES - Mrs. Mary Ida Church, the wife of Lewis 0. Church, died at the family home south of Centerton Saturday evening, December 5th. She was 61 years and 10 months old and had lived in Benton County 37 years. She is survived by her husband, one daughter and three sons, namely: Mrs. Minnie True of Southwest City, Mo.; Forrest G. Church of Neosho, Mo.; Charley Church of Ojai, Calif. and Harry C. Church of the home. All were home at the time of their mother's death but Mr. Church in California who was unable to come. Another daughter, Miss Nellie Church, died in June 1915. Mary Ada(?) Jines Church was born in Hugoton, Ill. Jan. 14th, 1870 and later came to Kansas with her people. Her marriage to Lewis Church took place in Liberal, Kans. in 1889. They came to Arkansas in 1894 and settled in Mason Valley township, Benton County where they have since made their home. Mrs. Church professed religion under Rev. Gilmore in Mason Valley 25 years ago. She became a member of the Methodist Church and has lived a faithful Christian life. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Coffelt Cemetery where burial was made. Rev. Stanley Hayden of Bentonville conducted the services.
