Dave C. Wiles, 25, Gentry, died June 14 in Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa, Okla., where he had been treated in the burn center since May 13. He was injured in a traffic accident near Joplin, Mo., and the truck in which he was riding burned.
Born Nov. 19, 1952, at Siloam Springs, he was the son of Byron and Norma Taylor Wiles, a member of First Baptist Church in Gentry and was self-employed.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sandra Kay Wiles of the home; one son and one daughter, Scott C. Wiles and Melissa Lynn Wiles of the home; his parents of Gentry; two brothers, Clinton Wiles of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Bruce Wiles of Nachez, Miss.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, Gentry, with the Rev. A.D Corder officiating. Burial will be in Gentry Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
