Otis L. McKenzie, 99, of Damascus, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009.
He was born October 22, 1909, in Damascus, to the late Robert Henry and Annie (Burroughs) McKenzie.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Atha (Hughes) McKenzie, a daughter, Monteen (McKenzie) Goyne, and a daughter-in-law, Patsy (LaFoon) McKenzie.
He is survived by a son, Charles O. McKenzie of Heber Springs; a son-in-law, James P. Goyne of Eudora, AR; two granddaughters, two grandsons, five great-grandchildren, and seven great great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, at Holland Cemetery in Gravesville.
