Funeral service for Ella Geraldine Fletcher, 16, who died September 7, 1934 at the City Hospital, Fayetteville, was held at the First Baptist Church Sunday at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. Karl McClendon, the pastor.
She was born March 18, 1918 in Springdale, where she had spent her entire life except three years in Arkansas City, Kansas. Her fatal illness followed two years of ill health.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Lynn Fletcher; a brother John Lynn and a sister, Mildred Irene, twins; two grandmothers, Mrs. Ella Fletcher of Springdale and Mrs. Joe Balweg of Dallas, Texas; several uncles and aunts.
Active pallbearers were Kathline Garner, Betty Lou Bateman, Virginia Ingram, Virginia Sanders, Mildred and Glenn Jarvis.
Honorary pallbearers were her Sunday school classmates and special friends.
Burial was in Bluff Cemetery.
