FLETCHER, Sarah A. — On Saturday, the 20th day of October, 1888, at her home on the middle fork of White River, Mrs. Sarah A. Fletcher in the 67th year of her age. Mrs. Fletcher has resided in this county since 1829 at which time she emigrated from Knox county, Tennessee. She leaves eight children and a number of grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian church 37 years and died as she had lived, a consistent christian. She was the wife of Jacob Fletcher who died 13 years ago. She was well known by nearly all of the old settlers and leaves none who ever knew her but to mourn her loss. James W. Fletcher.
