Jerry Mattox Payne, 79, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 after an extended illness.
She was a homemaker, a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Van Buren and a former member of the Rehobeth Missionary Baptist Church in Ozark.
She was born June 18, 1933 in Ozark, Arkansas to the late Edmond and Velma (Hibbard) Mattox and preceded in death by her husband, Kirk Payne and a brother, Billy Mattox.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Fisher and wife Robin of Mulberry, AR and Jimmy Fisher and wife Judy of Fort Smith; one daughter Donna Rowe of Van Buren, AR; two sisters, Betty Cagle of Ozark and Pat Price of Branch; 6 Grandchildren, Clint Fisher, Jessica Brown, Ty Fisher, Barbi Yarnell, Casey Fisher, Randy Pfeiffer; and 4 Great Grandchildren, Caleb, Connor, Abby and Katherine.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM Friday, December 7th at Ocker of Alma Chapel with burial to follow at Rankiin Cemetery.
