Nina Holt of Mtn. View passed away at the Stone County Nursing and Rehab Center December 26, 2008 She is survived by her husband Alton Holt; sons; Junior Holt, Jerry Holt and David Holt all of Mtn. View and daughter, Jennie Crawford of Barstow, Calif. She was born September 17, 1922 in the Sylamore area of Stone County, AR. She was 86.

Nina and Alton married for 69 years leave 10 grandchildren, 16, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Nina was preceded in death by three brothers; Bud, Lee and R.B. Sullivan and two sisters: Beatrice Pogue and Inez Copeland. Nina is survived by sister, Lois Vannatter.

Nina has lived in California and Arkansas and was well known for her cooking. She has worked as a grocery checker, restaurant owner, cook and house superintendent. Nina was a lifetime member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Stone County, Arkansas. She was also the oldest member.

Visitation is 5 - 8 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 2 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2008 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Luther Branscum officiating and interment in Fifty Six Cemetery, Fifty Six, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Lynn Holt, Chris Holt, Michael Vannatter, Roy Dean Pitts, Daryl Pitts and Shawn Downs. Honorary pallbearers are Lane Ross, Tommy Ross, Anthony Carroll, John Battaglear, Trevor Downs, Adam and Austin Holt, Jeremy and Robert Trujillo, Joshua Ow, Connor Mills, Tyler Baurle and Bryden Holt.
