Obituary
Mavis Rose Rickman, 90, of Stuttgart passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart. Mrs. Rickman was born April 28, 1922, in Pendleton, Ore., to Lloyd and Agnes Nettie Rickert. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. A Navy veteran, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 30 years. She loved to cook, sew and garden. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Petshow; and an infant brother, George Neil Rickert. Survivors are her husband of 49 years, Garland Rickman; and two sisters, Carol Eberdt and Laurel Rickert of Portland, Ore.
