William Arthur Dowling, 76, of Clinton, died March 13 from bone cancer at the home of his daughter Kathy, surrounded by his family.
He was born May 10, 1931 in Tarrytown, New York, and married the love of his life, Marion, on October 30, 1951.
Mr. Dowling served in the Army, worked for the railroad, the Clinton School District, and the Health Department. He loved to go to garage sales and flea markets. He owned his own business, selling antiques, collectables, and junk.
Bill lived in New York most of his life, moving to Arkansas in the late 70’s.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marion, and his daughter, Linda.
He is survived by his daughters, Barbara, Kathy, Debra, and Lisa, his son William Jr., thirteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held on March 15, at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Bill was a Christian, and he and his wife were members of Immanuel Baptist Church.
