W. R. (Bud) Hutchens, after a lingering illness, died at the home of his son Carl, at Paw Paw, Okla.; Thursday Aug 29, 1930. He was 74 years of age.
He leaves to mourn his departure six boys, and three girls. They are: George of Ozark; Oscar, Arthur, and Selmer of Braggs, Okla; Carl, and Charley, of Paw Paw, Okla; Mrs. Chas Shaver of Idaho; and Mrs. Levi Smith, Ozark.
J.T. Greer and Son, undertakers, had charge of the Funeral.
He was laid to rest in the Family graveyard at White Rock, in the presence of a large congregation of people. Funeral services was conducted by Rev. J.L. McClellan, of Ozark.
The deceased was a good man, honest and industrious. Before his health failed him he was quite prominent in the affairs of the county. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

The Angel of Death entered our home at 4 am Aug 17th taking our Precious Mother how hard it was to give her up but why should we weep and mourn because she has gone to rest. Mother was 64 years old she lived a true Christian life as a member of the Baptist Church and ever helping others.
Everything that friends and loved ones could do was done but God saw best to call her on high where she waits her loved ones.
She leaves to mourn her lost husband, nice children several grand children and great grandchildren she rests in White Rock Cemetery Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. Brooks.

She is the daughter of George and Eliza (Frisby) McGill. She married William Robert Hutchens. Sarah Caroline was half-Cherokee on her mother's side.
William and Sarah's children: Mary, George, Minnie, Ollie, Oscar, Arthur, Charlie, Carl, Selmar, Gertude, Clara, and unnamed infant.
