Geraldine Crymes, 73, of Bald Knob, passed from this life to heaven after an extended illness August 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by family. She was born May 10, 1940 in Bald Knob to Walter and Blanche (Benton) McGee. She was a long time member of Temple Baptist Church and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Daniel, James and Richard McGee; sisters, Eveline Smith, Berniece Harbour, Bertha Southerland, and Almeta Bennett. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John L. Crymes; son, Kenneth Crymes (Cathy) of Jacksonville; a daughter, Teresa Throckmorton (Mike) of Mountain Home; grandchildren, Jonathon Crymes (Melissa) of Marion, Caleb Throckmorton (Amanda) of Mountain Home, Andrew Crymes (Kathryn) of Conway, Sara Crymes of Jacksonville; great-grandchildren, Austin Fletcher, Emmy Crymes, and Bentley Crymes of Marion, Zoey Throckmorton of Mountain Home; brothers, Bud McGee of The Dalles, Ore.; twin brother, Carl McGee of Greers Ferry and a sister, Emma Dunn of Danielsville, Ga.

Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 p.m. at the Temple Baptist Church in Bald Knob. Services will be conducted Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the church. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Big Springs Cemetery in Stone County. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
