Dennis Jay Lawrence, 47, of Melbourne died Saturday, April 27, 2013.
He was born in Batesville, AR on May 4, 1965 to Jimmy Jay and Georgia June (Shaver) Lawrence
He was a construction worker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Shelly (Garner) Lawrence of Melbourne; three daughters: LeaAnn George of Melbourne, Misty Brown of Sage, and Maggie Lawrence of Melbourne; four grandchildren: Bailey George, Bradley George, Khloei Heiskill, and Carter Brown; his mother, Georgie Lawrence; sisters: Kitty Marsyla and Penny Price both of Melbourne; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lawrence; a brother, Rocky Lawrence; paternal grandparents: Rex and Effie Lawrence and maternal grandparents: Roy and Maggie Shaver.
Pallbearers will be Richard Cline, Marty Fulbright, Johnny Cooper, Dustin Heiskill, Michael Brown, and Brandon George.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Reeves Cemetery near Melbourne with Wayne Wilson officiating.
There will not be any visitation.
Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
