Graveside Services for Donnie Bee Hopper Houser of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 3:00 pm Monday, October 10, 2011, at Sidon Cemetery, Sidon, Arkansas, with Reverend Clay Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, Monday, October 10, 2011, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Donnie died Friday, October 7, 2011, at Care Manor Nursing Center, at the age of 87. Donnie was born August 22, 1924 in Romance, Arkansas, the daughter of Willie Lee and Minnie Bell Cunningham Lawson. She retired from Baxter Laboratories and was a lifetime resident of Arkansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain Home. Donnie was a christian with a strong faith and a loving mother and grandmother.Donnie is survived by 2 sons, Gary (Sarah) Hopper of Benton, AR and Steve (Carla) Hopper of Mountain Home, AR; 1 daughter, Carolyn Fortner of Forsyth, GA; 4 grandsons, Eric (Lindsey) Hopper, Travis Hopper, Nathan Hopper and Johnny (Kelsey) Fortner; 1 granddaughter, Michelle (Brandon) Wiggins; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Carroll Hopper; second husband, Andrew Houser and several brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made to the Gassville Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
