Ides Swafford, 93, of Dyer, Ar, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, in Moore, OK.
He was born November 6, 1917 in Ozark, AR.
He was a supervisor for 32 years at Desota Furniture Co., served in the Army during WWII and was stationed in Alaska, a member of New Bethel Assembly of God in Dyer, AR, and was a member of Alma School Board.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adeline Swafford; his parents, Sidney and Flossie Swafford; a brother, Willey "Doc" Swafford; seven sisters, Inez Bekam, Lillie Mae Harness, Opal Morse, Sue Wyatt, Faye Rapert, Teresa Langley and Bertha Evans.
He is survived by two daughters, Martha Hubbard of Broken Arrow, OK and Kathy Maze of Moore, OK; two sisters, Christine Fleener of Alma, AR and Eunice Evans of Alma, AR; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren
Pallbearers were Kenneth Hubbard, Jeremy Hubbard, Ryan Maze, Glen Cottrell, Tim Porter and Derald Porter.
Honorary Pallbearers were Tom Henry Harness, Ides Lee Evans and Ron Wyatt.

Adeline Swafford, 91, of Dyer, Arkansas, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 in a local hospital. She was born April 15, 1918 in Dyer, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Assembly of God Church in Dyer.
She is survived by her husband, Ides Swafford of the home; two daughters, Martha Hubbard of Broken Arrow, OK and Kathy Maze of Moore, OK; three sisters, Alice Julian of Van Buren, AR, Rev. Georgia Cottrell of Alma, AR, and Betty McKinney of Fresno, CA; one brother, Rev. Herman Porter of Dyer, AR; as well as 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James McGregor, Tom Harness, Ides Evans, Jeremy Hubbard, Kenneth Hubbard, and Glen Cottrell.
