Elma Malinda Morrison, 82, of Alco entered into rest on July 20, 2011 in Mountain View.

Elma was born October 29, 1928 in Searcy County, Arkansas to Delphia and Vivian (Peters) Tilley.

Elma was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. She worked as a LPN. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hinton of Clinton, Arkansas, JoAnn Green of Mtn. View, Arkansas and Jan Morrison of Clarksville, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Russell David and wife Rebecca of Mtn. View, Scott Davis and wife Lisa of Bellville, AR, Shanna Hinton and husband David of Clinton, Chris Green and wife Helen of Mtn. View and Josh Perry of Clarksville; and eight great-grandchildren: Alex and Dustin, Haley and Dakota, Emily and Ashlyn, Shiela and Jennifer and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, ‘Pete’ Morrison on July 7, 2011; her parents, Delphia and Vivian Tilley and two sisters, Bula Tilley Hollaway and Edna Tilley Balentine.

Visitation is 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 1 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Thurman Bullard presenting the obituary and Bro. Gary Ragland presenting the message and interment in Pordue Cemetery, Onia, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Thurman Bullard, Dave Watts, Bob Apple, Frank Lunsford, Ricky Linville and Hank Herr. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Marriott, Lloyd Allen, Jerry Smith, Doug McClurg, David Garett and Donnie Emerson.

Pete’ Russell Lavern Morrison, 84, of Marshall (Bluff Springs Area), entered into rest on July 7, 2011 in Mountain View.

Pete was born February 24, 1927 in Flag, Arkansas to Floyd and Ola (Barnes) Morrison. He was of the Baptist faith and was a self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elma (Tilley) Morrison; three daughters, Donna Hinton of Clinton, JoAnn Green of Mtn. View and Jan Morrison of Clarksville; three brothers, Duane ‘Boss’ Morrison and wife Joyce of Marshall, Billy Joe Morrison of Jacksonville, Rex Morrison and wife Pat of Marshall; two sisters, Edna Gammill of Harrison and Euda Fridge and husband Bob of Texas; five grandchildren, Russell Davis and wife Rebecca of Mtn. View, Scott Davis and wife Lisa of Bellville, Shanna Hinton and husband David of Clinton; Chris Green and wife Helen of Mtn. View and Josh Perry of Clarksville; eight great-grandchildren, Alex and Dustin, Haley and Dakota, Emily and Ashlyn, Shelia and Jennifer and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Morrison; mother Ola Morrison; brothers, Haskel Morrison, Jerry Morrison, Larry Morrison, Eugene Morrison and Junior Morrison and sisters, Cleo Herr and Grace Anderson.

Visitation is 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mountain View.

Funeral service is 1 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn.View with Bro. Gary Ragland officiating and interment in Pordue Cemetery, Onia.

Pallbearers are Wesley Smith, Dave Watts, Frank Lunsford, Ricky Linvill, Doug McClurg and Jerry Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Marriott, Luther Morrison, Lorn Fletcher, L.J. Treat, Bob Apple and Lloyd Allen.
