THREET, Margaret DEAN - Mrs. Margaret Threet was born in East Tennessee May 26, 1843 and departed this life January 15, 1918, aged 74 years. She came to Arkansas with her parents at the age of 10 years. Was married to William Threet November 30, 1870 and to this union were born three sons and one daughter. She became a Christian when she was 14 years old and in 1896 united with the Baptist church at Pleasant Hill and has been a faithful member ever since. Besides her brothers and sisters, two of her brothers, Rube and Jot Dean, having died within the past year, all of them being past the three score and ten mark. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jackson Deason and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Tuck's Chapel. {The card of thanks was signed by Wm. Threet, Harmon Threet, Mr. and Mrs. C. Threet, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Threet.}
