MAYSVILLE — Rachel Nancy Yoder, 64, of Maysville, died April 26, 2007, near Cherokee City.
She was born March 27, 1943, in Belleville, Pa., to Abraham Z. Peachey and Katie Peight Peachey. She lived in the Maysville area for the past 21 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gentry Mennonite Church. She married Menno Kore Yoder on Nov. 18, 1965.
Survivors include her husband of the home; sons Omar and wife Rochelle of Maysville; Urie of the home; Daniel and wife Susan of Gentry, and James and wife Cynthia of Murray, Ky.; daughters Salina Wiens of Norwood, Mo., Katie Unruh and husband Byron and Gloria Friesen and husband Rawlin of McFarland, N.C., and Ruth Ann Yoder, Brittany Yoder, Amber Yoder and Tamara Yoder, all of the home; 20 grandchildren; her parents of Rockville, Ind.; brothers Benjamin and wife Sarah of Ohio, Omar and wife Hettie and Joseph and wife Jackie of Belleville, Pa., Samuel and wife Hettie of Murray, Ky., Eias and wife Linda and Daniel and wife Tina of Belleville, Pa.; sisters Mary Kanagy and husband Sam of Belleville, Pa., Ella Kanagy and husband David and Annie Kanagy and husband Henry of Rockville, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday at the Gentry Mennonite Church with Jack Burns, Kenneth Smith and Dee Wayne Koehn officiating. Burial will follow at the Gentry Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., today at the Gentry Mennonite Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
