Nora Jewel White, 102, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006.
Born on October 10, 1903, in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of the late Thomas and Madora Alice Connor Adkisson, she was a homemaker and attended
the Heber Springs Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
Survivors include a daughter, Athelene Lasley of Mt. Vernon; a son, Jess White of Mt. Vernon; a son/nephew, Max Breeding of Benton; four grandchildren, William Lasley of Enola, Pam Carter of Mt. Vernon, Holly McClintoch of Colorado, and Robin White of Mt. Vernon; 15 great-grandchildren, and 20 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Cecil White, a son, William Douglas White and a son/nephew, Larry Breeding.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with burial following at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
