Archie William Hobbs, 87, of Van Buren, died Saturday, January 12, 2008, in a V A Hospital in Fayetteville. He was a retired farmer, an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II, and a lifelong resident of Crawford County.

He is survived by his wife, Lois of the home, two daughters, Deborah McLamb of Greensboro, NC, and Dena Cole of Ft. Smith, one sister, Bonnie Kimes of New Hall, CA, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one niece, Treyonne Roach and one nephew Byron Miller.

Ministers will be Rev Truman Pixley and Rev. Tim Hobbs. Pallbearers will be John Gibbons, Tom Lincks, Ronald Cook, Alaric Cole, Charles Hobbs and Matt Coswell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Norman McAllister, Tom Lamb, Gene Scaggs, Jim Moore, Bob Oldham and Barry Sharp.
