*Born in Graves County, Kentucky. He was the son of William C Cannon and Minerva Dupree Cannon of Wolf Bayou, Arkansas. After the war he married Anna C Davis, daughter of John Davis. He and Anna were married on July 13, 1869 by Rev Ben F Davis at the Methodist Episcopal Church. Isaac and Anna were blessed with several children
