Obituary
HIGHLAND — Reathie Opal Schneider, 94, of Highland passed away Saturday morning, Feb. 21, at Fulton County Hospital.
She was born Oct. 6, 1914, at O’Kean to the late James and Nellie Shelton Dean.
She is survived by seven grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Shoemaker and Nina Beck, both of Illinois; one brother, Ray Dean of Florida; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Schneider; one son, John Dean Schneider; two daughters, Phyllis Thatch and Carol Lee Schneider; two brothers, Zan and Howard Dean; and three sisters, Jae White, Vivian Leonard and Loraine Gregory.
Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday night in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home at Pocahontas.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel with burial following in Sharum Cemetery.
