Obituary
POCAHONTAS -- Charlene Bounds, 81, of Pocahontas died Saturday, Dec. 4, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Delaplaine, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include seven sons, Charles Bounds of Marthasville, Mo., Tommy Bounds of San Antonio, Grady Bounds, Randall Bounds and Berell Bounds, all of Pocahontas, Larry Bounds of Delaplaine and Gary Bounds of Peach Orchard; a daughter, Sue Malin of Judsonia; three sisters, Opal Coleman of Lake Station, Ind., Nellie Frazier of Alpena and Virginia Wynn of Rockford, Ill.; two brothers, Billy Shoe of Paragould and Marva Shoe of Pocahontas; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Bounds; two sons, Roger Bounds and Denny Bounds; four sisters; one brother and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Cox-Waymon Funeral Home, with William Richmond officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis or to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
