WARREN, May 24 - Byron L. Herring, member of the 1921 House of Representatives from Bradley county, and a well-known attorney, died at his home here about 11:30 o'clock this morning, following a sudden attack of heart disease resulting from acute indigestion. Mr. Herring tried a case in court here yesterday and was in robust health. Yesterday afternoon he was taken ill with acute indigestion, and became worse during the night. His heart failed him this morning. Mr. Herring Leaves a widow and two children. He was active in civic affairs in Warren and Bradley county, and was widely known in the southern part of the state. He was one of the leading members of the last House. Funeral arrangements have not been made. (Arkansas Democrat - May 24, 1921)
