Hendrick Martelle Willis, 80, of Russellville, died June 17, 2001, at Arkansas Hospice at North Little Rock.
Born September 18, 1920, at Hamburg, he was a son of the late James Virgil Willis and Mae Etta Mullins Willis.
He was a retired painting contractor. He was a former member of Bradley County Juvenile Court.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Assembly of God.
He married Margie Jean Senn Willis on May 4, 1940, and she died January 28, 1976; and one son, Wesley Willis.
Survivors include three sons, Doug Willis of Russellville, Phillip Willis of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Bill Willis of Waxahachie, Texas; two daughters, Beverly Scroggins and Carol Eubanks, both of Russellville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
