Gevan Harris, age 87, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010, at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. Born at Bee Branch, Arkansas, on March 31, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John Daniel and Eliza Pearl Maybry Linn.
Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Devonshire Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Harris.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her son, Toney L. Porter and his wife, Marie, of Heber Springs; two brothers, J. D. Linn of Baldwin City, Kansas, and Archie Linn of Wilburn; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harris is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
