Henry Wesley Murphree of Bee Branch, AR went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born May 16, 1923 in Miller, AR.
He was a member of Bee Branch Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Marvel and Essie Birdsong Murphree; his wife, Elva Lois Poe Murphree; a sister, Georgia Murphree; and brother, Robert Murphree; a daughter, Billie Murphree Tyler; and grandson, Jeffrey Murphree.
He is survived by four sons, Leon Murphree (Sabra), Leo Murphree (Mary), Joe Murphree(Dianne), and David Murphree (Maryjean); one daughter, Barbara Murphree Miller; sister, Marie Murphree Bittle; and brother Ray Murphree. He has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Bee Branch Baptist Church. The service will follow at noon with burial at Walley Comstock Cemetery.
