RAYON, Sarah Catherine - {from Glade) Sarah Catherine Rayon was born May 11, 1860 and departed this life July 26, 1933, being 73 years, 3 months, 15 days old. She was united in marriage to J.M. Rayon in 1876. To this union were born 16 children, nine of whom are still living — Charley Rayon of Hominy, Okla., Cora Ford of Bonham, Texas, Walter Rayon of Royce City, Texas, Homer Rayon of Glade, Ark., Frank Rayon of Rogers, Demas Rayon of Glade, Ark., Tim Rayon of Joplin, Mo., Myrtle Turney of Garfield, Ark. and Luther Rayon of Maysville, Okla. Sister Rayon professed a hope in Christ in her early days which she maintained until the end. She leaves to mourn her, children, relatives, neighbors and a host of friends. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Cecil Garrison of this place.
