Mrs. Oneita M. Welsh, age 103, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Monterau Nursing Center, in Tulsa.
She was born October 14, 1909, in Rathburn, Iowa, to Frank and Cleo Hiatt O’Connor. Mrs. Welsh was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Joanne Sharp and Patricia Harper: both of Tulsa; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George Welsh; two half-brothers and three half-sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 8, 2013 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 9:00.-9:45A.M. at Roller Funeral Home, Monday prior to the Mass. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
