Glenn E. Rabeneck, 85, of Stuttgart died Thursday, January 28, 2010 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Stuttgart on January 20,1925. He was a retired farmer, a World War II veteran and a devoted husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Eldor and Lucille Rabeneck.
Mr. Rabeneck is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gert; two brothers, Don Rabeneck of Stuttgart and Ralph Rabeneck of Beebe; two sisters, Ruth Biela of Springfield, Missouri, and Wanda Phelps of Stuttgart; two sons, Jim Rabeneck (Lindy) and David Rabeneck (Debbie) of Stuttgart; two daughters, Betty Reece (Terry) of North Little Rock and Alice Crawley (Keenan) of El Dorado; eight grandchildren, Brandon Rabeneck, Jenny Wallace, Jeff Grim-mctt, Ryan Rabeneck, Sally Anderson, Brett Rabeneck, Amy Crawley and Kristin Crawley; one great-grandchild, Haedon Rabeneck; and numerous step-grandchildren.
