Gloria Maylene Oliver Dickson, 70, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Baptist Health-Little Rock. Gloria was born September 16, 1939, in Stuttgart to Thomas Henry and Effie Mae Oliver. Gloria, a lifelong resident of Stuttgart, attended St. John's Lutheran Church. She was employed at Mack's Prairie Wings for the last 14 years.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Milton Oliver and Thomas Henry "Dude" Oliver, and one sister, Lucille Dorsch. Survivors are her husband and best friend of 52 years, Richard Allen "Dickie" Dickson Sr.; two sons, Allen (Jane) Dickson and Lynn (Natalie) Dickson, both of Stuttgart. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Bailey and Melissa Dickson, Caleb Dickson, Spencer Dickson and Skyler Dickson, all of Stuttgart; two sisters, Dolores (Lloyd) Synco of Humnoke and Mary Lou Howard of Pine Bluff; three brothers, Roger Oliver of Humnoke, J.L. Oliver of Helena and Dennis (Margaret) Oliver of Stuttgart; sister-in-law, Juanita Oliver of Stuttgart; and a host of nieces and nephews. To her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, she was affectionately known as Glo, and she will be forever remembered by her entire family.

A celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Stuttgart with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery.
