Charlotte Mae Arrington, 72, of El Dorado, formerly of Hamburg, died Monday, April 2, 2001, at the Southeast Arkansas Medical Center in El Dorado. A native of Hamburg and an El Dorado resident for the past 28 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Miles Memorial Church of God in Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, E. G. Green; her parents, Lewis and Annie Arrington; and three sisters, Alma Allen, Maddie Arrington and Flotie Mae Lambert.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. Robinson of Darnell and Lewis Robinson of El Dorado; six daughters, Gloria B. Wright, Maydell Moore, Rozella Coleman and Tammy Robinson of El Dorado and Rosie Robinson and Kathy Jefferson of Long Beach, CA: a brother, Lewis Arrington of Hamburg; a sister, Lottie B. Lyons of Little Rock; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in the Emmanuel Temple Church of God in Christ with Supt. Jasper Mays officiating. Pallbearers were Alvin Reynolds, Rodney Henry, Alfonso King, Willie Mays, Henry Dunn and Eddie Mays. Burial followed services at the Johnson Memorial Cemetery, directed by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
