Jake Matthew Meins, 20, died Saturday (Oct. 30, 2004).
Born March 31, 1984, he was a 2002 graduate of Stuttgart High School and a junior at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was majoring in electrical engineering. He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stuttgart.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Lucille Strabala of Stuttgart.
Survivors are his parents, Dean and Alberta Meins of Stuttgart; two sisters, Brooke Meins and Kelly Jones of Conway; and his grandparents, Buddy and Pauline Meins of Stuttgart.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Jack Gillam officiating. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
