Wilbur Nolan Meins, 86, of DeWitt died January 30, 2015. He was born September 22, 1928, in Stuttgart to Theodore Henry and Edyth Marguerite Kirkseick Meins. Wilbur was an Air Force Veteran, retired farmer, owner of Easy Living, and a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Raymond and Frank Meins; and two sisters Florence Meins Knoll and Nellie Meins Conrad. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vivian Manis Meins; son, Michael Meins of DeWitt; three grandchildren Jacob Meins of Navarre, FL, Kendall Meins of Little Rock, and Madison Meins of Fayetteville; one great granddaughter Audrey Meins of Navrre, FL; one sister Betty Stilley Matoone of Bolder City, NV; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home. Memorial services will be Tuesday, February 3 at 1:00 at St. Luke Lutheran Church.
