Mrs. Wanda Lee Suddath Medford, age 82, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005.
Wanda Lee Suddath Medford was born at Turner, Arkansas, on April 24, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Louis Benjamin and Alice Snyder Suddath. During World War II, Wanda served in the Women's Army Corp. She owned and operated "Wanda's Beauty Shop" in Marvell for 45 years, was a member of the Marvell First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

An easy going, fun loving person, Wanda enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Her family was truly the love of her life. Her interest included reading, crocheting, fishing w ith her brother, Bill, and good friend, Mary Fuller, and taking care of her pet poodle and pug dogs. Her beautiful smile and fun loving ways will be sadly missed but she has left a legacy of beautiful memories for her family and friends to cherish.

Mrs. Medford is survived by her daughter Rebecca Medford Wilson and her husband, Greg, of Selmer, TN; one brother, Jerry Suddath, and wife, Edwene, of Marvell; one sister, Mary Anne Suddath Hirsch, and husband, Alan, of Marvell; two grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Wilson and Gregory Alan Wilson, of Selmer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held on December 5, 2005, at Bob Neal & Sons- Brickell Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Turner Cemetery, Turner, Arkansas. On line guest book, www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
