Jettie Francis White, 84, of Altus died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002, in Ozark. She was born Sept. 3, 1918, in Webb City. She was a nurse's aide at Turner Hospital and a member of Ozark Free Will Baptist Church. She was the widow of Herman White. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Ozark. She is survived by three daughters, Marie Hutchison, Peggy Miller and Joyce McCartney, all of Ozark; two sisters, Velma Colchin of Irving, Texas, and Hazel Rafala of Indianapolis; three brothers, Seldon Nordin of Alma, Everett Nordin of Berryville and Theron Nordin of The Woodlands, Texas; nine grandchildren, 21 great-granchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be J.J. McCartney, Wayne and D.J. Turner, Brad Bryce, Jeff Jackson, Billy Miller, Joseph Hall and Brody Martinez. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
