Ida Belle Huett 75 of Elizabeth died Monday (Dec. 30) at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem.

Mrs. Huett was born Aug. 10, 1910 at Elizabeth. She married Troy L. Huett July 20, 1939 at Elizabeth. Mrs. Huett was a member of the Church of Christ at Elizabeth.

Survivors include a step-son, Bernard Huett of Russellville; two brothers, Grover and Cleaman Borden both of Elizabeth; two sisters, Bessie Bolar of Waynoka, Okla. And Lyda Herrman of Willow Springs, Mo.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, her parents James William and Martha Nimmo Borden; two sisters; one brother; two half-sisters and one half-brother.

Services were Wednesday at the Elizabeth Church of Christ at Elizabeth with Brother Dan Campbell officiating. Burial was in Elizabeth Cemetery with Burnett Montgomery, Glen Cotter, Earl Huett, Bob James, Phillip Huett and Jay Guffey serving as pallbearers.

Arrangements were by Leland Carter Funeral Home of Salem.

[Note: The obituary states that the marriage took place at Elizabeth on July 20, 1939. Baxter County records show that the marriage license was filed in that county, and it has the marriage date listed as July 15, 1939.]
