Alma Ruth Douglas, 94, of Vilonia, AR, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was born April 18, 1925 in Fordyce, AR to Ira and Ila Turner. Alma was preceded in death by her husband, of over 51 years, James Douglas, son, Jimmy Wayne Douglas and her parents.
Alma was a member of El Paso First Baptist Church in El Paso, AR. She loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time fishing.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Shirley (Johnie) Mewborn and Debbie (Kirk) Doyle, grandchildren, Brian Hammett, Cindy (John) Carder, Malorie (Brook) Wheeler, Rachel (Jimmy) Terry and Taylor Cash. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many other friends and relatives that love her.
Funeral Services will be Monday, January 27, 2020 at 10:00AM at El Paso First Baptist Church, El Paso, AR. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Bayou Mason Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Village, AR.
