Glenn R. Keown, 84, of Hardy died Nov. 16, 2001, at Parkview Nursing & Rehab in Paducah, (McCracken County) Kentucky. Born Aug. 28, 1917, in Ohio County, Ky., he was the son of Floyd V. and Alpha Brown Keown.He was of the Baptist faith, a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with 20 years service as a master sergeant, and a member of the Wilson Masonic Lodge 432 in Hardy.Survivors include three sisters: Ruth Farmer of Paducah, Wilma James of Owensboro, Ohio, and Lena Butcher of Toledo, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.Masonic graveside services were Nov. 20 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cherokee Village, with arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel.
