Clarcie Faulkenberry

Clarcie Faulkenberry, of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late Issac Jaccob Huett and Mary Ann McGlasson Huett, was born June 24, 1907, in Elizabeth, Ark. She died June 1, 2008, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Ark. at the age of 100 years, 11 months and 8 days.

She was united in marriage to Raymond Wesley Faulkenberry Oct. 29, 1926, at Elizabeth, Ark., and to this union three children were born. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Church of Christ.

She is survived by: two sons, Devoe Faulkenberry and wife, Buena of Longview, Texas; and Bob Faulkenberry and wife, Barbara of Pensacola, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Howard; brothers, Jimmy, George, Tom and Randall; sisters, Minnie, Beulah, Ruth and Virgie; and her father and mother.

Funeral services were held June 4 at the Salem Church of Christ with burial following in the Elizabeth Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
