ROGERS — Andrew A. Newbill, 98, a resident of Rogers. Ark., went to be with his Lord Jan. 23, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born July 22, 1913, in Denver, Colo., the son of Horace A. and Bertha M. Christenson Newbill.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rogers, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Newbill; one son, Gary Newbill; and one sister, Elsie Rodgers.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and DeNese Newbill of Lincoln, Ark., and Rod and Jean Newbill of Napa, Calif.; one daughter-in-law, Susie Steen of Decatur, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Luke Newbill, Lindsay Newbill, Andrew Newbill, Preston Newbill, Michelle Stevens, Ginger Eberhart, Candi Nixon, Holly Kinser and Kristy Newbill; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Rogers. Interment will be in Decatur Cemetery; there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
Family ask, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, 307 W. Elm St., Rogers AR 77756; or Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale AR 72762.

ROGERS — Gladys "Lucy" Lucile Newbill, 90, of Rogers died Aug. 30, 2008, at her home. She was born Oct. 15, 1917, in Naponee, Neb.
She and her husband moved to Northwest Arkansas 20 years ago from Boulder, Colo. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rogers and was active in the Methodist Women's Group and Willing Workers Sunday school class. She and her husband were accomplished ballroom dancers. She married Andrew A. Newbill, on Dec. 31, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary W. Newbill.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew A. Newbill of the home; two sons, Andrew L. Newbill and wife DeNese of Lincoln and Rodney A. Newbill and wife Jean of Laguna, Calif.; her daughter-in-law, Susan Steen of Decatur; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Methodist Church in Rogers. The Rev. David Bentley will officiate. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Rogers.
