Maxey Keith Woody, 61, of Mountain View, AR died May 16, 2009 at his home in Mountain View.
He was born July 30, 1947 in Mountain View, AR to James Edward Woody and Eva Leona Holloway Woody. Mr. Woody was retired from Synergy Gas and was a member of Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church. Maxey was also a veteran of the U.S Army.
Preceding him in death were his parents James Edward Woody and Eva Leona Holloway Woody.
He is survived by his wife Pauletta Doss Woody; daughters, Rebecca Burcham and husband Steve of Farmington, MO and Deanna Foll and husband Barton of Pleasant Grove, AR; a son, Mark Long of Mountain View, AR; six grand-children, Megan Foll, Rachel Adamson, Justin Foll, Tiffany Stogner, Dustin Burcham and Stevi Burcham; three great grand-children, Tarin Foll, Charley Ann Adamson and Draegon Stogner; three brothers, Bob Woody of Collierville, TN, Ulyess Woody of Mountain View, AR and Don Woody of Atoka, TN; three sisters, Sue Gentry of Cabot, AR, Wanda Williams of Piggott, AR and Pat Fix of Lakewood, WA.
The funeral service is Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, AR with Bro. Joe Morrell officiating. Burial is in Levisy Flat Cemetery.
Pallbearers are John Scroggins, Dwain Crymes, Bob Nichols, David Nichols, Harold Allcorn and Fred Ward.
