Truman Harold Woody, 80, Fifty Six entered into rest on May 14, 2008 at Little Rock.

Mr. Woody was born October 2, 1927 in Fifty Six, Arkansas to Robert and Alta (Bowers) Woody.

He was a member of Fifty Six Missionary Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired aircraft worker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his wife, Beulah Vickers Woody of the home; one son, Ronnie Woody and wife Diana of Fifty Six; two daughters; Joan Woody McQwain and husband Wayne of Clinton and Sheila Woody Horton of Yellville; four brothers, James, Gene, Curtis and Joel David Woody, three sisters, Corrine Trimmble, Lois Susma and Sharon Reece; six grandchildren, Kim Oliver of Marshall, Misty Stockton of Batesville, Jamie Horton of Marshall, Shawn Woody of Fifty Six, Jeremy Horton of Marshall and Brandie Gann of Clinton and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alta Woody; one brother, Virgil Woody and one sister, Velma Welch.

Visitation is 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2008 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Saturday,, May 17, 2008 at Fifty Six Missionary Baptist Church, Fifty Six, Arkansas.
Officiating is Bro. Robb Arnold with interment in Fifty Six Cemetery, Fifty Six, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are John Allen, Hershel Tilley, Keith Baysinger, L. J. Treat, Harold Mitchell and R. C. Alexander.
Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Woody, Jamie Horton, Jeremy Horton, Darrell Gosser, Junior Lee Deathrage and Curt Moore.
