Mrs. Dorothy Landers, 63, Rt. 1, Springdale, died Nov. 29 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 17, 1911, at Boxley, she was the daughter of John and Betty Evans Lewallen and moved to Springdale from Van Buren in 1961.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie R. Landers of the home; seven sons, Don Landers, Rogers, Bill Landers, Jerry Landers and Carrol Landers, Springdale, John Landers, Phoenix, Ariz., Harold Landers, Pea Ridge, and Gerald Dean Landers, Waverly., Qhio, six daughters, Mrs. Johnny (Louise) Taylor and Mrs. Charles (Wanda) Tomiello, Springdale, Mrs. Myran (Betty) Thompson, Greenland, Mrs. Bob (Naomi) Scales and Mrs. Doug (Mary) Williams, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Gene (Opal) Reno, Waverly, Ohio; three brothers Jim Lewallen, Huntsville, E.V. Simmons and Henry Simmons, Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Taylor, Nashville, Tenn.; 39 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Dec. 3 at Sisco Chapel at 2 p.m. with burial at Thornesberry Cemetery.
