Betty Jean Warner passed away Monday, November 7, 2011. Betty was born September 29, 1925 to the late Roy and Ruth Boyd. She was born and raised in Jacksonville, AR and continued to live in the area for most of her adult life. She met and married Marshall Warner on Christmas Eve in 1943 and together they raised two girls, Mary Sue Warner Melton and Sandra Kay Warner. Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and spent most of her time caring for those she loved.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, and oldest daughter. She is survived by her brother Carol Boyd and his wife Jean, her sister Carolyn Harden and her husband Bill, her youngest daughter Sandra, her grandson Bryan Melton and his wife Glenda, and her granddaughter Stacey Swafford. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Greg McDonald, Joshua Melton, Jasmine Swafford, Elyssa Melton, Jacob Melton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2011. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2011 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
