Pauline Horn Peters, 84, of Higdon, passed away Monday, July 27, 2009. She was born October 1, 1924 in Jacksonville, AR, to Frank and Elma Smith Diederich. Pauline was a member of McArthur Assembly of God Church. She retired from Franklin Electric, was very active in the VFW Auxiliary and volunteered at the VA Hospital. Along with her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Horn and second husband Clyde Peters, two brothers, Edward and Paul Diederich and a sister, Erma House.
She is survived by her children, Linda Lorenz (Joe) of Higdon, Jerry Horn (Jaunita) of Cabot, Eugene Horn (Gloria) of Russellville; brother Ronald Diederich of Savannah, GA; sisters, Bertie Mae Knox, Louise Morgan and Geraldine Cook, all of Cabot; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Moores Cabot Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Brand officiating. Interment will follow at Bayou Meto Cemetery.
