Sandra Lynn Willis, 59, of Mountain View died Friday, November 26, 2004, in Little Rock. She was born July 12, 1945, in El Paso, TX. She was a teacher's aide since 1979, a lab technician and elementary school secretary and worked for the schools for 22 years before retiring. She helped her husband in building the Yellow Jacket Football Stadium and developing a Hooked on Fishing drug program. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Willis; two sons, Mark David Willis and wife Melani and Richard Norris and wife Melissa, all of Mountain View; her mother, Marzee Brooking of Mountain view; three brothers-in-law, Tim, Bill and Fred Willis, all of Hamburg; one sister-in-law, Teena Willis of Hamburg; two nieces, Kim Sheaner and Karen Erschen; and other relatives, Blake, Spencer, Ashley, Kara and Gunner Willis. She was preceded in death by her father, George Wilbur Brookings; and one sister, Roxie Crow Gala.
Funeral services were scheduled for Tuesday, November 30, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Mountain View with Bro. Steve Johnson officiating. Burial was to follow at Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Mountain View.
Pallbearers were to be Jim McCarn, Von Dean Jeffery, Randell Lawrence, Dennis Gillihan, John Calaway and David Funderburg. Honorary pallbearers were to be Mountain View Elementary teachers.
